DPC DATA, the municipal bond market’s premier provider of disclosure documents, today unveiled several key new features on its popular Web site for municipal bond professionals that enhance access to its online archive of official statements and escrow documents.

The new features unveiled today include improved organization of search criteria into related topic categories, and the addition of several new search fields that users may employ to more precisely target their archive queries. “The best product enhancement ideas we get always come from our customers,” said Michael Ruvo, DPC DATA’s Chief Information Officer. “As customers identify ways for us to improve our web site, we respond by investing in new underlying data and improved retrieval capabilities. These latest enhancements are presented by popular demand.”

The new search fields available in the MuniIRIS® portion of the site located at http://www.dpcdata.com/iris/s_iris.cfm allow more precise searches for final official statements and escrow documents. They include coupon rate, maturity date, and a way to specifically screen for variable rate securities, taxable municipal securities, and alternative minimum tax securities. Users may now search for specific coupons and maturities, or ranges of each, as well as identify bonds that have these other specific attributes.

“We think the new search fields will have special appeal for broker/dealers and the buy-side of the market, particularly for constructing swaps,” observed Ruvo. “Other users will most likely appreciate them because they further enhance our site as a market research tool.”
